Each Omega Blu™ product was formulated in the USA and tested in government-regulated laboratories. We recommend that professional health care providers, pharmacists and nutritionist exclusively handle all Omega Blu™ products and those patients in need of EPA and DHA be properly educated as to their benefits and availability. Factories that manufacture all of OmegaBlu Products are regulated by the USFDA and are regularly inspected by them. Oils used in our products originate from Peruvian waters, travel to refineries around the world, and are packaged in the United States.
People that bruise easily or have a bleeding disorder are cautioned to see a doctor before taking any supplement including omega-3 which is known to thin blood.
The most common side effect is burping. Omega Blu™ is formulated with a fresh citrus taste and no burp. You can bite the capsule and taste that the oil doesn’t have a fishy smell or taste.
YES. Most fish oil capsules usually contain only 300 mg of omega-3, about 70% of the capsule has no positive effect and is made up of fat and fillers. You have to take a minimum of three or four capsules to consume 1,000 mg of omega-3. Omega Blu™ products have higher omega-3 content and contain no toxins or enteric coatings.
You can take from 1,000 mg/day up to 3,000 mg, depending on what your doctor is trying to treat.
YES. DHA is an important substance in the development of our nervous system. Clinical studies with DHA have been demonstrating an impact on eyesight, ADHD, ADD, bi-polar disorder and many other neurological problems.
YES. Studies on EPA have shown it lessens the chance of developing serious cardiovascular events such as Sudden Cardiac Death. The American Heart Association recommends individuals with a family history of heart disease take more than 1,000 mg of omega-3 daily.
The body uses EPA and DHA for different reasons and can convert one into another. EPA is the starting material in your body for hormone-like materials called prostaglandins that are potent anti-inflammatory agents. They counter the pro-inflammatory agents produced by our rich omega-6 diets. DHA is a fundamental building block of our nervous system. Our brain, all our nerves and eyes are made of 20-30% DHA.
NO. For most of us the consumption of enough EPA and DHA is minimal. We simply don’t eat enough wild fish, so additional omega-3 is usually needed. EPA and DHA are found in fish, however only a few varieties such as anchovies, tuna, and swordfish, have enough EPA and DHA to be meaningful. Farm raised fish is usually deficient in omega-3 fatty acids and therefore is less desirable than wild fish.
D-Limonene, an oil nutrient called a terpene, is an amazing natural compound found in lemon and orange peels. It has potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, offers assistance for a variety of metabolic and health problems, has anti-cancer properties, and even helps with weight management.
The most widely known health benefits of vitamin E are protection against toxins such as air pollution, premenstrual syndrome, eye disorders such as cataracts, neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, and diabetes.
Vitamin E thins the blood which is another significant health benefit. In other words, it prevents the blood platelets from clumping. High levels of vitamin E reduce the risk of sunstroke and coronary artery disorder or heart disease.
Another widely known health benefit of vitamin E is in skin care and hair care. Owing to its antioxidant properties, vitamin E promotes the circulation of blood to the scalp. Vitamin E helps alleviate fatigue and strengthen capillary walls while nourishing the cells.
Supplemental vitamin D is associated with a wide range of benefits, including increased cognition, immune health, bone health and well-being. Supplementation can also reduce the risks of cancer, heart disease, diabetes and multiple sclerosis. People deficient in vitamin D may also experience increased testosterone levels after supplementation.
Vitamin D helps the body control phosphate and calcium levels in the body. The body may generate other hormones to encourage the release of phosphate and calcium from the bones if the levels of these minerals in the blood become very low. This results in the weakening and softening of the bones.
Omega Blu™ products are pharmaceutical grade omega-3 supplements, distilled to a high purity and they do not contain significant saturated fats and impurities as found in other products. Omega Blu™ supplements cost less because you take fewer capsules (only 1 or 2 per day instead of 3 or 4 or more) than competitor brands. Omega Blu™ is toxin-free and is not enteric coated. Odorless, no fish taste and burp free.
YES. There are basically three omega-3 fatty acids; they are alpha-linolenic acid, EPA and DHA. Only EPA and DHA have substantial medical benefits proven in thousands of clinical trials.
NO. Our bodies must have omega-3 and omega-6 to function correctly. The average Americans diet is very rich in omega-6 and supplementation is seldom needed. On the other hand, American’s don’t eat anywhere near enough omega-3 and, therefore, most of us are deficient of this essential material.
Omega-3 fatty acids are one of a group of chemicals that help operate our bodies. We cannot make omega-3 and therefore must consume it. Omega fatty acids exist as omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9. Both omega-3 and omega-6 are also known as Essential Fatty Acids because, without them both, our bodies will not function properly.
Curcuminoids seem to act like Cox inhibitors, resembling prescription and over-the-counter non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAID). When roughly 1.2 grams of curcuminoids was tested versus a tablet of NSAID, the results were statistically the same. The benefit of Turmeric’s curcuminoids is that they are a natural material with virtually no side effects compared to NSAIDS that cause serious stomach and intestinal ulcers.
Turmeric with a low amount of curcumin is nothing more than a spice. Therefore, products with at least 700mg of curcumin “per capsule” should be your target when purchasing a Turmeric supplement.
Question #1
I heard Multivitamins with a large dose of B vitamins can cause urine to turn yellow. Is this true?
“Omega Blu”
High concentrations of B vitamins will tend to alter the color of your urine. B vitamins are water soluble so they are eliminated in the urine. However, ask your health care provider if Multivits3 is right for you.
Question #2
I have been taking a common brand containing B vitamins. My urine did not change colors, why?
“Omega Blu”
B vitamins are highly water soluble, so as a result they are eliminated in your urine when they are present in high concentration. In all likelihood, the brand you used contained low or no B vitamins.
Ask a health care professional for additional information.
